Double mini trampoline (dmt)

The double mini trampoline, often referred to as the DMT, was invented in 1970. A relatively new apparatus, the act joined Gymkana’s repertoire in the 1980-81 season. Combining the speed of the vaulting act with the energy of the trampoline act, DMT has become the traditional second-half opening of Gymkana’s annual home show. Troupers have continuously added their own spin to the act, experimenting with over-under passes, lightning-quick back-to-back passes, tumbling across the DMT, and even flying and flipping through hoops, making this traditionally competitive trampoline & tumbling event into a more circus-inspired experience.
